ha! steve! you have some really cool ideas in your piece. my monster originally looked almost like yours. It went through some many changes I can't even count.

All the helpful advice and crits go to Eric Deschamps and Dan Dos Santos.

Aaron, I almost went with the angel, but liked the image of Lilianna with the glowing back tats. So I cut down the detail in the creature. I love what you did with it. My sludge looks kind of cartoonish. I originally had it darker and raining, wish I had kept that.

Eric pooh-poohed my original monster for the same reason. He sent me emails with cartoon slime monsters to get me to change it. I'm glad he challenged me.
